"The Origin" by José Ramos
The cycles of life shown in constant neverending motion, flowing and encircling each of us in its cadence.
I’ve tried to locate this spot on the map but I can’t, and Sony has unfortunately deactivated the GPS option in their cameras. It was found while driving through the under-rated East Coast of Iceland, after I decided to stop during sunrise to photograph a very interesting small wood cabin meant for bird observation. The sky was starting to burst with light, and the very interesting cloud formation made me scout the place a bit further to find alternative compositions. After a very short walk I found this small stream of water, coming right from the ice melting of the mountains in the distant background. The strong effect of the ultra wide angle lens gave a strong emphasis to the foreground, building a solid leading line to the beautiful distant mountains.
