Description

"The Sunbeam" by Daniel Peirce

Sunbeam Cycles was founded by John Marston. In 1887 Marston began making bicycles and, on the suggestion of his wife Ellen, he adopted the trademark brand Sunbeam. His factory was located in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England.

In the early 1900's as the popularity of motorized vehicles kept increasing and bicycles decreasing in popularity, Marston experimented with small engines mounted on his bicycles, but was unsuccessful. Then starting in 1912 onwards he started making Sunbeam motorcycles.

Following his high standards and the tradition of his Sunbeam bicycles, the Sunbeam motorcycles were high-quality and was known as the "Gentleman's Machine". The featured fine art print features a close-up shot of a vintage 1928 Sunbeam motorcycle engine.

All our prints are shipped in high quality aluminum frames. Our EFX watermark will not be printed on the final artwork. All of our products are printed on archival quality UV light resistant polyester.
