Our special EFX color chaning prints provide a dynamic look to this beautiful French bridge; Located in the city of Lyon, the University Bridge spans the Rhone River. In French it’s called, "Pont de l'Université" and was built and replaced a ferry that primarily served the university buildings.

The University Bridge was erected between 1876 and 1898. When it finally opened in 1903, the bridge was named bridge of the Faculties, but people probably started calling it the University Bridge, because it was used by all different types of people. During WWII the bridge was damaged in 1944, but a temporary wooden bridge was established. The bridge was eventually restored and reopened in 1947.
