Description
"Brooklyn Bridge Reflections"
A beautiful color changing print that captures both the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges found in New York City. These two landmark bridges span over the East River. The Manhattan Bridge connects Lower Manhattan at Canal Street with Downtown Brooklyn at the Flatbush Avenue Extension; It was opened to traffic on December 31, 1909. The Brooklyn Bridge connects the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn; It was open to traffic on May 24, 1883. The Brooklyn Bridge was the first fixed crossing of the East River. It was also the longest suspension bridge in the world at the time of its opening. People back then called this bridge the "New York and Brooklyn Bridge" or the "East River Bridge", but thirty-two years later it was officially renamed "The Brooklyn Bridge" in 1915.
Location: Brooklyn, New York
