Location: Israel 

The Dome of the Rock is an Islamic shrine. This shrine is located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem and its construction was untaken by Umayyad Caliphate on the orders of Abd al-Malik. The Dome of the Rock was first opened in 1023.
