Description
"Egyptian Blue Water Lily"
The Egyptian blue water lily can naturally be found in freshwater lakes, pools and rivers throughout most of east Africa, as well as parts of southern Arabia, but has spread to other regions as more of an ornamental plant for water gardens. Also known as Egyptian lotus, or sacred blue lily of the Nile, this aquatic plant was grown by the Ancient Egyptian civilization and had significance in their religion. These water flowers can be blue, white, purple or pink, but usually have pale bluish-white to sky-blue or purple petals, smoothly changing to a pale yellow in the center. This blue lotus has been used to produce perfumes since ancient times and is also used in aromatherapy.
All our prints are shipped in high quality aluminum frames. Our EFX watermark will not be printed on the final artwork. All of our products are printed on archival quality UV light resistant polyester.
