Description
"Ponte Santa Trinita in Florence, Italy "
Our special EFX Color change technology makes it look like rising sun is coming in and out of clouds. Trinity Bridge (Ponte Santa Trìnita as they say in Italian) spans the Arno River and is easy to spot with its three large arches. The bridge was constructed by the Florentine architect Bartolomeo Ammannati from 1567 to 1569.
The Trinity Bridge is just downstream a short way from the famous bridge Ponte Vecchio; both located in Florence, Italy. Sometime between the night of August 3rd and the morning of August 4th, the Trinity Bridge was destroyed by retreating German troops on the advance of the British 8th Army. A Bailey bridge was built for temporary use by the Royal engineers. The bridge was eventually reconstructed in 1958 with original stones raised from the Arno and a nearby quarry.
All our prints are shipped in high quality aluminum frames. Our EFX watermark will not be printed on the final artwork. All of our products are printed on archival quality UV light resistant polyester.
