Picture was taken at Brooklyn Bride Park by Veronika Bykovich. Jane's Carousel is in the foreground with the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, East River, and Freedom Tower in the background. Park is located at New Dock Street in Brooklyn, NY. When Idora Park, loated in Youngstown, OH, closed in 1984, the carousel was bought at auction by Jane and David Walentas and moved to Brooklyn, NY for restoration. It was opened to the public at its new location here on September 16, 2011. The Walentas also commissioned a French architect Jean Nouvel to design the building that houses the carousel.
