"Mohegan Bluffs" by James Venuti
Location: New Shoreham, Rhode Island
Sitting atop Mohegan Bluffs is the architecturally distinct Southeast Lighthouse. Its grounds offer amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Built in 1875, this 52 foot brick lighthouse with a granite tower, was named a National Historic Landmark. The lighthouse and its gift shop are open to the public during the summer. The lighthouse grounds, with its remarkable view of the bluffs, are open all year.
