Location: Piazza Navona, Rome, Italy
Fontana del Moro, or Moor Fountain, is located at the southern end of the Piazza Navona in Rome. This fountain in Italy was originally designed by Giacomo della Porta in 1575 with the dolphin and four Tritons. In 1653, the statue of the Moor in the center, standing on a conch shell, designed by Gian Lorenzo Bernini and sculpted by Giannantonio Mari, was added. It is placed in a basin of rose-colored marble.
