"Norton Manx" by Daniel Peirce
The Norton Manx was a British racing motorcycle manufacturing company that was made bikes from 1947 to 1962; The maker of the Manx was called Norton Motors Ltd. Norton had entered every Isle of Man TT motorcycle race from the inaugural 1907 race into the 1970s. This was a feat unrivalled by any other manufacturer and allowed them to continue to make motorcycle racing improvements. Norton Manx was introduced before WW II (1936 - 1940) and was called the 'Manx Grand Prix'.
