Description
"Pierce Four" by Daniel Peirce
The Pierce Four, maybe closer to a powered bicycle than a motorcycle, was manufactured by the Pierce Motorcycle Company. It's claim to fame was that it was the first four-cylinder motorcycle produced in the United States. It was first introduced into the US market in 1909.
These are very rare motorcycles if you can find one. The motorcycle actually cost more to build than its sales price and that eventually bankrupted the Pierce Motorcycle Company. It's estimated that fewer than 500 were built.
All our prints are shipped in high quality aluminum frames. Our EFX watermark will not be printed on the final artwork. All of our products are printed on archival quality UV light resistant polyester.
