Built over 118 islands and separated by 177 canals, it is one of the most unique cities in the world. The Venetian Islands are linked by 400 bridges and one popular tourist attraction to navigate Venice's canals is a romantic gondola ride. Venice is also famous for its glassmaking which takes place on Murano Island, located in the Venetian Lagoon.
