Avalon Beach is a northern beachside suburb in Sydney, Australia. It was named after the mythical island of Avalon. Legends say Avalon was an earthly paradise and the final resting place to King Arthur. Avalon Beach is a surfing beach and is known for its rich orange-colored sand.
