Description

"Bethany Beach: The Quiet Resort"

Location: Bethany Beach, Delaware

Like Sting said, "There is nothing like the Sun!" -especially when you are at Bethany Beach! Each Summer this quiet beach town attracts thousands of families looking to relax and get away from their ordinary day. As you enter this quaint beach resort, you are greeted by a The 24-foot tall totem statue called "Chief Little Owl" and the Bethany Beach Municipal Building and Community Center that sits at the downtown entrance of Bethany Beach in Delaware.

Carved into the totem is an eagle and Nanticoke Indian Chief. As per the time this article was written, it's the third installment of the monument since 1976, when sculptor Peter Wolf Toth donated the original to the town; The combination of the sun and fierce storms can be very harsh on wooden structures. But just as totem poles have served as symbols for different groups of people throughout the history of the world, the Bethany landmark called Chief Little Owl, has served as a symbol for the town and its residents, as well.

All our prints are shipped in high quality aluminum frames. Our EFX watermark will not be printed on the final artwork. All of our products are printed on archival quality UV light resistant polyester.
