Halloween comes once a year where everyone can enjoy dressing up in costumes and going treat-or treating. Sometimes it can be stressful getting decorations, costumes and candy as you might not have time to full-blown decorate this year. These techniques will help you decorate for Halloween quickly and easily!

Halloween is in the fall season as fall is a beautiful time to decorate inside and outside your house. Fall decorating can consist of pumpkins, leaves, fall flowers, scarecrows, and more. People love to decorate their homes by carving their pumpkins into Jack-O-Lanterns for the season of fall and Halloween. This year your Halloween decorations will be extra special with these spooky decorating techniques for any visitors or yourself!

1. Create a favorite point for every Halloween scene of decorations

  • Experts recommend creating a favorite piece of furniture or art for the room
  • Same design concept for temporary decorations at Halloween
  • Use your favorite or hand-made decoration as inspiration for the decorations around

2. Present a dramatic entrance into your home

  • Front porch, door, and foyer should set the tone for Halloween
  • Less is more like dimming the lights to draw more attention

5. Macabre Mantel

  • Put together all your black decorations like candlesticks, vases, and books
  • Add some spooky touches like skulls
  • Not needed but for extra touches, matte-black spray paint and bleeding candles
  • Bleeding candles are made by holding a lit red taper candle over white pillars and the red wax dripping down the sides

6. Little at-home pumpkin patch

  • Non-working fireplace could turn into a little pumpkin patch
  • Add a crate and straw around the pumpkin patch

7. Haunted decorated tree on piece of furniture

  • Bare branches are available at floral supply stores
  • Add some Halloween ornaments
  • Stretch out some cotton balls for cobwebs
  • Little pumpkins around the Haunted decorated tree
  • Bowl of candy or treats next to the Haunted tree

8. So Simple but perfect for Halloween Time

  • No time to pick up any decorations?
  • Grab a few mini pumpkins
  • Pile the pumpkins in a large salad bowl and place in the center of your table or anywhere in your home
  • You can arrange many of these bowls around the house as quick decorations
