A magnificent sunrise over Avalon pier in Nags Head, North Carolina, and part of the Outer Banks (OBX).
The Outer Banks are 200 miles of barrier islands along the coast of North Carolina and Virginia. The Outer Banks contains hundreds of shipwrecks, giving the surrounding seas of Outer Banks the nickname of the "Graveyard of the Atlantic". The Outer Banks is also known for the location of the popular Netflix series "Outer Banks".
