The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid and the tomb of Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. Initially standing at 481 feet (147 meters), the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for more than 3,800 years. Built in the 26th century BC, this incredible work of Egyptian architecture is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact.
