The Transamerica Pyramid is part of San Francisco's Financial District in California. This 48 story skyscraper is the second tallest building in the San Francisco skyline. Completed in 1972, it is only surpassed in height by the Salesforce Tower, built in 2017. Transamerica Pyramid was the original headquarters of the Transamerica Corporation until it relocated to Baltimore, Maryland.
