"Statue of Jesus"

Jesus Christ was born in 4 BC and is the figure of Christianity, the worlds largest religion. He is known by Christians as the Son of God and the Messiah. This particular statue of Jesus is called "Christ the Redeemer". The statue of jesus can be found at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was constructed between 1922 and 1931. It stands 98 ft high and stretches 92 ft wide weighing in at 635 metric tons. It is an iconic Brazilian landmark.
