Description

"Tarantula Nebula"

The Tarantula Nebula was observed by Nicolas-Louis de Lacaille during an expedition to the Cape of Good Hope between 1751 and 1753. This nebula has a star brightness magnitude of 8 and its luminosity is so great that if it were as close to Earth as the Orion Nebula, it would cast visible shadows. The Tarantula Nebula is also the most active starburst region known in the Local Group of galaxies, which includes the Milky Way.

All our prints are shipped in high quality aluminum frames. Our EFX watermark will not be printed on the final artwork. All of our products are printed on archival quality UV light resistant polyester.
