Musée Du Louvre is the world's largest art museum located by the banks of the Seine River in Paris, France. The magnificent, baroque-style palace and museum houses one of the most impressive art collections in history. It is one of the city's biggest tourist attractions.

I find myself in the world
Room after room
I defeat space and time
By hiding myself in Egyptian
Sarcophagi and by petrifying myself
Like a neoclassic sculpture

I run in the aisles of Renaissance
Bodies and I stop
In front of the Hammurabi code
The wild African masks
Possess me in their primordial fire
And the kings of France whisper prisoners
Of the paintings the vain weakness of power
And the common vanity which infects us

The man has disappeared
The flame of energy and signs remains
In all its titanic force
A relentless spirit that goes back
And forward like a violent and chaotic
Whirlwind which no more consider seconds
Or meters but only the creative little
Force of dust

Nothing is longer essential to me
Only this dome of fragile art
Similar to dripping sand
Which finds its monument
In the caverns of humanity
