Zündapp was a German small motor manufacturer founded in 1917 in Nuremberg by Fritz Neumeyer. Two years later World War I started in 1919 Fritz decided to diversify and offer motorcycles.  The first Zündapp motorcycle was the model Z22 in 1921.

The Zündapp DB204 Norma motorcycle was only produced for 2 years. It featured a single cylinder, two-stroke standard produced by Zündapp between 1952 and 1953. It could reach a top speed of 56 mph (90 km/h). The DB204 Norma was fitted with a 3.17 Gallon (12.00 Liters) fuel tank. The bike weighed around 270 pounds (122 Kg).
