Description

"Gilera Saturno San Remo" by Daniel Peirce

Gilera was an Italian motorcycle manufacturer founded in Arcore in 1909 by Giuseppe Gilera. While the Gilera 500 four-cylinder motorcycle was winning races on race tracks around the world, the Italian company had its sights on winning the Grand Prix.

The Gilera Saturno was a modified version of the Gilera 500.The Saturno had wins at the 1947 Monza Grand Prix and the 1950 Spanish Grand Prix. This motorcycle also won five consecutive races at Sanremo, which is why the name was added to the bike. The fine art print features a 1953 Gilera Saturno San Remo engine.

All our prints are shipped in high quality aluminum frames. Our EFX watermark will not be printed on the final artwork. All of our products are printed on archival quality UV light resistant polyester.
