Description
"Poplars on the River Epte," by Claude Monet
In the summer of 1891, French Impressionist Claude Monet learned that a row of poplars on the river Epte were due to be cut down near his home in Giverny. Monet paid for them to be left standing so he could paint them, creating his poplars oil painting series consistng of 23 works of art. Key features from this set of canvas oil paintings are the combination of strong surface patterns, vigorous brushwork, and pictorial depth through the continuous zig-zag of trees leading into the distance.
All our prints are shipped in high quality aluminum frames. Our EFX watermark will not be printed on the final artwork. All of our products are printed on archival quality UV light resistant polyester.
